First blog entry
So yeah I'm kinda new to this whole blog thing I have no idea what I'm doing. The only thing I've figured out so far is to get some sort of a background thing on. What else can I do to make my blog look better? If there are any blog experts out there that could help me out, that'd be kool.

You are a blogger! You're doing it! I might suggest making the body text area wider (use "Adjust widths"). You could also choose a text field that isn't quite as glowingly white as this one I'm writing in -- it could be a light blue or grey, maybe, to better contrast but not so starkly).
